St Emilion is an ancient town with a history that dates to the second century AD. A word heritage site it is at the centre of an area comprising many world famous grand cru châteaus – there are many wine tours to enjoy in the immediate vicinity including a small tram that tours the vineyards.

Sarlat   is one of the most attractive and alluring towns in South-west France. It has been carefully restored with many the sites of historic significance. Sarlat has remained preserved as one of the towns most representative of 14 century France.

Bordeaux is a port city on the Garonne River. It is the capital of the Aquitaine region and the world's major wine industry capital. The extensive history and architecture has earned Bordeaux a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List as "an outstanding urban and architectural ensemble" of the 18th century. Most recently the Bourse has been developed and attracts many visitors. For those that enjoy retail therapy the shopping is first class with a mix of designer stores, small boutiques and high street stores.

Perigeaux is the regional capital with many Roman sites of interest. The architecture is stunning with all the usual French markets, shops, bars and restaurants.

The Atlantic coast can be reached within 90 minutes of Les Bonnins. This stretch of coast has  fantastic beaches that appeal to the swimmers and surfers alike. The main beaches are situated in the Landes forest - fine beaches blessed with a mild climate. Arcachon Bay is crowned by Europe's largest sand dune, the Dune du Pyla and is famed for it oyster beds. Cap FerretIt is famous for its lighthouse and as an up-market white sand beach resort that has retained its natural feel.
